Restrooms with Wildlife Views

A bonus for anyone to stop at Alzu Petroport, are the fantastic restrooms.  Yes, really! The restrooms do not only deliver extremely well on the basics, but also speak to the aesthetic eye.  The restrooms have large glass windows overlooking the game enclosure and reserve. One can see as far as the distant horizon and the ALZU wildlife make regular visits to the nearby water hole.  As a visitor travellers enjoy sitting within this tranquil setting and if their timing coincides with that of the wildlife will have the opportunity to view rhino, buffalo, zebra, eland, blesbok, ostriches, two Egyptian geese and an emu or two.  Visitors sit in a relaxed trance as they watch the wildlife transverse the green plains of ALZU coming from a distance towards the game feed troughs.

View Decks

Apart from easy accessibility right on the N4 route, the large indoor and outdoor wildlife viewing decks make viewing possible what-ever the weather.
The game reserve viewing decks and Rhodis Project Exhibition Museum are open to the public at no cost

In addition, a rhino educational offeringfeaturing the University of Pretoria Rhino ‘Rhodis’ Project Exhibition is very informative for International tourists.  This is a 'stop' for the whole family, commuters and tourists from around the world and should not be missed.  A pleasurable stop that feeds the soul and the appetite with well-known and popular brands Nando’s, Sausage Saloon, The Waffle Cafe, Spur and Mugg & Bean Mini on the Move delivering excellence in fast food and leisurely meals!  The cherry on top of the ALZU experience is the Country & Outdoor Retail shop which visitors love to browse through the range of gadgets, men’s and ladies outdoor clothing, luggage and bags, and bush hats.  There is something for everyone! ALZU Petroport contributes not only to the sustainability of the South African rhino (a beautiful baby rhino was born on 27 March 2015) but also to the South African economy by employing 250 staff of which approximately 65% live on ALZU Enterprises farmland within close proximity to the Petroport.
