Inner City Living - Johannesburg

“Creatives, Trendsetters, the Visionaries and the Young
Are Drawn to a New Lifestyle in the Johannesburg City
Creating New Landscapes for Future Generations to Come”

In a series of media releases which I received for the Johannesburg City Festival that has taken place this week the one that caught my attention was an invitation to attend the launch of an Inner City Living documentary. As this related to real estate and lifestyle which are key to everyone's daily existence I accepted the invitation to return to The Apprentice Apartment which I last visited in 2005 at the ‘House of the Year Awards’.

The evening and documentary was insightful and I found myself mingling with a new generation of young, forward thinking entrepreneurs and creatives who are totally committed and inspired to living, working, and playing in the city and see a bright future for the city of Johannesburg.

The Documentary - Inner City Living
The main aim of the evening’s event was to create a broader awareness of a new and impressive documentary showcasing buildings and pockets of the city that have been redeveloped with a new energy that transcends to a larger public, a young generation who love to visit the popular eateries, restaurants and galleries.
As well as to impress upon other property investors that there is a resurgence of interest both local and abroad in investing in real estate within the Johannesburg city. The documentary focuses on the experiences of residents who live in trendy, spacious apartments which offer city living style and convenience. The support of the Inner City bus transport system which infrastructure was established prior to the 2010 World Cup taking place has breathed new life into the city hub giving easy travel to many to commute daily in and out for both work and play.

The Apprentice Apartment
Market & Simmonds Street
The Apprentice Apartment where the event was held was many years ago the home to the Apprentice contestants in the popular South African Apprentice Reality TV series and is an 800m² penthouse situated at The National Bank House with sweeping views across the city skyline.

The apartment is available for dinner parties and cocktail event evenings with a fully fitted chef’s kitchen. It has a one of a kind Jacuzzi in a historical copper dome. Packages can be tailored to include private security, barman, chef, waiters and limousine transport around the city.

Urban Ocean Property Developers  manage this property and is billed as an ‘A-List Entertaining venue in the Jhb CBD’

The Documentary - Broadcasting Rights

Most importantly as the event was a launch to propel awareness of the documentary inquiries regarding the broadcasting and screening rights for the documentary can be channeled to the documentary director: Tshepo Moorosi (contact details below).
